So i choose manic if thats the right name and it says i got the blessing of manic. Does this blessing do somthing?

If i got the blessing of dementia does it change my path? This way madness lies. One of these two options will appear depending on whether the player has discovered the island before hearing the rumor about it or if he hasn't I've found a strange door in Niben Bay.
